Booking Conditions
Please Read the Terms & Conditions before booking
Upon receiving a booking enquiry, and the requested dates are available, a booking form (together with directions) will be emailed or posted to the prospective guest to be completed and returned together with a 20% deposit. At the time of the enquiry the required dates will be provisionally reserved until receipt of the completed booking form and deposit, the dates will then be confirmed with the guest. If the completed booking form and deposit are not received within 2 weeks, we will contact the guest by email to check whether they wish the booking to go ahead. If we are unable to contact the guest, then the dates requested will be released and the booking request will be void.
Cancellation
In the event of owner cancellation, we will refund any payments already received in full. In the event of customer cancellation, the deposit will be retained unless we are able to re-let the Barn, in which case, the deposit will be refunded
Insurance
It is recommended that customers take out holiday insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellation before the holiday starts and during the holiday itself to cover any potential damage caused as a result of negligence by the guests or damage caused by pets.
Cars, contents, baggage and all personal items are at owner’s own risk.
Breakages
No security deposit is required, and we accept that minor breakages may occur and we do not expect payment for the odd glass or item of crockery, but please let us know so that replacements can be found. However, breakages or damage of a more substantial nature must be paid for – the person making the booking will be responsible for any damage caused. (please see Insurance section above).
Pets
Pets are welcome (a small charge is made of £10 per pet) and must be well controlled and should not be left unattended in the property unless left in an appropriate pet cage. All dog waste should be put in waste sacks and put in the waste bin provided.
The Property
Customers can arrive no earlier than 3pm on the start date of their holiday and must leave no later than 10am on the departure date (unless previously agreed with the owner). Customers should agree to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave it in a similar condition to that in which they found it.
No Smoking
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we have a No Smoking policy inside the cottage.
Payment Methods
We are able to accept cash or cheques (made payable to W. Jones & Son) or BACS payments if preferred.
We appreciate your co-operation with the above terms & conditions. Thank you.
